Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your time to own a robot vacuum. CNET's best-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its most notable innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It makes use of AI to identify objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot to mop we've ever tested, picking up dirt and spills with ease without leaving any trace that was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app which lets you schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it by voice.
The design is also superior to the other models. It has an elegant, top piece that appears like an toy, not a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to speed up cleaning.
In our tests the j7+ was quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in place instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able to capture sand, small gravel and even a little grit. Most robots can't achieve this feat. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair.
Although it's not as smart as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent choice for those who require both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell if the update is actually functioning until you've seen it in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the best choice is probably one that is a hybrid. These machines are equipped with a tank of water so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. These bots also have various additional features, including smart mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock makes some of our most loved robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. fail to impress. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and while it's not equipped with certain features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great option if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save a few hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem where cheaper robot vacuums often fall short. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few misses in corners and along walls.
Like robot vacuum deals like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled using a handful of buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. With the app you can begin and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and adjust your home map or change the labeling of rooms.
If you opt for the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place, emptying the bin is done with relative ease. It also has a large LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't an essential feature for most people, but it's one that will aid in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is one of the top in the market, but it's expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks stunning and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates various tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robovac I've tried that does a good job picking up the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas of the house. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for plush carpets.
While it doesn't offer as much in the way of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price price.
If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are many other options on the market. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpet floors, as well as mopping functions for a low cost. It's simple to set up, simply snap on one of the side brushes and turn it on, then connect your charging dock. The app takes you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock must be located near an outlet with plenty of room to move.
The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. The design is less ostentatious than some rival models, and features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in an arc for two minutes). You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.
The main feature that distinguishes the G30 apart from its competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It will return to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning the area it left.
The elegant G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life while offering superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with the boundaries that ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is, however, is more affordable and much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be emptied as often and it's less trouble with bulky materials like cereal.
